At Sendaviva, we have extensive experience in conservation, animal welfare and wildlife management. For this reason, we collaborate with training centres and universities to bring academic learning closer to the professional reality of the sector.
Our multidisciplinary team enables students to gain first-hand insight into the day-to-day operation of a nature and leisure park, while developing a practical understanding of different areas related to animal management, environmental education and visitor services.
We offer several ways to experience the professional world of Sendaviva:
A training experience aimed at vocational training groups, universities and specialised educational centres.
The activity includes a tour of various indoor and outdoor park facilities accompanied by specialised professionals, who will explain the day-to-day operation of Sendaviva and the park’s main areas of work.
Topics covered include animal management and welfare, zoo operations, veterinary care, synergies and collaborations with other organisations, as well as conservation, research and education initiatives.

- Includes an introductory talk and a guided technical tour.

Sendaviva offers university and vocational training students the opportunity to undertake work placements in different departments across the park. This is a valuable opportunity to learn alongside experienced professionals and gain first-hand insight into areas such as environmental education, animal care, visitor services, administration, communication and marketing, catering, and operations.
These placements are primarily aimed at university students and participants in Dual Vocational Training programmes, allowing them to complement their academic studies with practical experience in a real professional environment.
